Using the Ordering Screen

The Ordering Screen allows you to view, create and edit an Order.

This screen may be accessed from a number of locations in the App however once on the screen the operation is much the same.

Ordering Modes

  1. When creating a new order, the Ordering screen will start in the Add Products mode.


  1. When Viewing or Editing an existing order, the Ordering screen will start in the Checkout mode.


Changing between Checkout and Add Items

At the bottom of each screen, there is a button to allow you to swap to the other ordering screen.
Touching this button will change to the other display

Add Items -> Checkout



Checkout -> Add Items



Order Total, Summary and Price Check

The Order Total provides an ongoing total for the order.
When the Order Total is touched it also provides a summary of the Order and allows a Price Check to be performed.


Order Detail Buttons

At the top of the screen, 
  1. Close Button - this will close this display and return you to the previous screen
  2. Options Button - this displays the Options Menu with additional operations that are related to this screen

Add Items Options Menu



This screen may be cancelled by either, 
  1. Touching the Close button (X) 
  2. Swiping down on the screen
The Options Menu provides the following selections:
  1. Show All Products - this will remove any Product Category and Filtering selections on the item list and display all products
  1. Add a Call Note - This allows you to make a Journal note for the Retailer
  2. Add an Order Note - This allows you to make an Order note that will be sent with the Order
  1. Scan a Barcode - This allows you to use the Device Camera to scan a product barcode

Checkout Options Menu



This screen may be cancelled by either, 
  1. Touching the Close button (X) 
  2. Swiping down on the screen
The Options Menu provides the following selections:
  1. Add a Call Note - This allows you to make a Journal note for the Retailer
  2. Add an Order Note - This allows you to make an Order note that will be sent with the Order
  1. Scan a Barcode - This allows you to use the Device Camera to scan a product barcode
  1. Create PDF
  2. Create PDF with Images
Both these options will create a PDF version of the Order than can be shared to customers via Email and other supported Share Applications



Product Filtering

The next zone allow you to select Product Categories and apply addition Filtering to the list of Products
  1. Touching in the Search Zone will load the Category Selector screen
  2. Touching on the Filter button (Funnel) will load the filtering Options screen

This screen may be cancelled by either, 
  1. Clicking the Close button (X) 
  2. Swiping down on the screen
Selecting a Category

The Product Category Selector screen allows you to quickly drill down to the correct range of products you are looking for.
Touching on a product category will apply the filter to the Add Items screen.
If there are sub categories under the selected category, these will be displayed to allow you to drill down further and refine the list of products.

Once you have selected the Category you want, you can close the screen to return to the list of Products.

SHORTCUT
  1. Clicking the > in the category row will allow you to select the category and close the screen in one operation
Searching For a Product
To Search for a Product
  1. Touch in the Search Zone
  2. Type the desired text
  3. Touch Search on the Keypad
This will close the Product Category Selector and return you to the list of searched Products.

The Search will look are a match on the Name, Manufacturer Code, Barcode and optionally the Description fields. The Search supports matching partial information i.e. "cup" will find products that contain "cupcake".

Additionally by default you can provide multiple words in the search and Products that match all words entered will be listed. If you do not want the search to operate in this manner, you can change a setting to ensure the complete text is used in the matching of products.




After closing the Product Category Selector you will be returned to the Add Items screen. The Search Zone will now indicate the current Product Category or Search text.

SHORTCUT
  1. Clicking the x icon in the Search Zone will Clear the Category or Search term and return to All Products (Filters still applied)


Product Filtering Screen

The Product Filtering Options screen allows displays all the available Filters with the current values. You can then change the applied filters to further refine the list of Products.
  1. The list of Filters will change depending on the setup of your system and which, if any, Custom fields have been enabled.
  2. Filters will operate on the current Product Category selected.
  3. The product Filters are cumulative i.e. If both Sugar Free and Gluten Free filters are applied, only products that are Sugar Free and Gluten Free will be in the Product list. 
There is the Option to quickly Clear any Filters currently applied.

To Clear any Applied Filters
  1. Touch the Clear filters option
To Apply or remove a Filter
  1. Touch the Filter Option desired
  2. This will display a list of Filter Options for that Filter that you can then touch on to apply the Filter


After closing the Product Filtering Screen you will be returned to the Product Search screen. The Filter Button will now indicate a filter is applied by showing a green tint to the button.



List

The bulk of the screen is for the actual list of Products. 

Inzant Sales Allows for the customisation of the way Product are displayed so you system make look different, however the operation of the screen is much the same.

  1. There is a header at the top of the List that displays the name of the columns of information in the product rows.
  2. All Products are in a list of rows beneath the header
  3. The list is scrollable, using the swipe up and swipe down

To view the details of a Product in the List, there will normally be a blue Link field you can tap on, or an information Icon to touch. This is dependent on your system configuration.

To show a products details
  1. Touch the Blue link field
The Product Rows also contain the Ordering Controls that allow you to add an item to the Order.
  1. In the case of this example, if you touch in the Quantity Zone a keypad will be shown that allows you to enter the quantity you wish to add to the order



Numeric Keypad

This screen may be cancelled by either, 
  1. Touching the Close button (X) 
  2. Swiping down on the screen
  1. To save the entered quantity, you must touch Save
On saving the quantity, the screen will hide and you will be returned to the Add Items screen and the quantity in the row for the product will be updated.
  1. When you have completed adding all items required, touch the Checkout button to complete the order.


Context Menu

We have provided a Context Menu on the item lines to allow you to quickly access some functions.

To Access the Contact Menu
  1. Long Touch the product row until you get the selected feedback (haptic tap and sound)
  2. Release the long touch

This will display the product touched and the options available.
  1. Touch the option to perform the function


Checkout 

The Checkout combines the ability to view and change the overall Order information as well as check and edit the items that have been added to the order.
The starting format of the screen is to show the overall information in the top section of the screen and the order lines at the bottom.
  


You can change the screen to show the list of items full screen using the selector switch.



This allows you to see and edit the items added to the order more easily.



Order Details Information

The Order Details zone allows you to:
  1. Change the Order date,
  2. Change the Order Status
  3. Add a Customer Reference Number
  4. Capture a signature from the buyer
  5. Finish the order and send it for processing

Touching in the zone will either present a new screen or allow text entry depending on the field type.

Touching the Finish Order button will  perform any workflow requirements and send the order for processing.
  1. If saving the order as a Draft state, the App will prompt if it should be changed to Submitted for processing.

Bulk Edit Function

There is an option to enable the ability to bulk edit lines on the Checkout screen. This is set from the App Settings.

When Enabled the Lines Zone of the checkout screen changes to provide access to the Bulk Edit Controls.
  1. The bulk edit controls allow you to filter products by Product Category
  2. Individual products can then be selected using check boxs on each row that the Bulk edit will be applied to.
Once the required Products are selected, the Edit button (pencil) can then be touched to show the Bulk Edit Options

 

There are two Bulk Edit functions available

  1. Apply Discount
This will allow you to apply a discount to all products. Select the discount to apply. 
  1. Change Price List
This will display a list of available Price Lists. Select the Pricelist to apply
