Retailer Search Screen

Retailer Search Screen

The Retailer list screen allows you to view the complete list of retailers loaded on the iPad. This article discusses how to use the list screen to filter and sort retailers to find information.

Online Help

The help link will provide you with online access to our knowledge base with the articles filtered in relevance.

Searching

The 'Search icon' allows you to search using the retailers name and account number.
  1. Touch the Search icon shown and enter the Retailer.

  1. The drop down list will appear with the Search zone selected, type in your search text.
The zone allows for partial searches as well e.g. Dar will find Darwin.

Category Selection

  1. Touch on the Category zone and a popover will appear allowing you to select the category you wish.
Inzant supports three levels of category, when you select a category, if there are sub categories they will be displayed.

Tip: If you touch on the > icon the category will be selected and the category selector will be removed automatically.

Filtering

You can also apply filtering to your customer list using the Filter selector.
  1. Touch the Filter zone to show the filter popover
You can filter the retailers using the normal categorisation fields and any additional custom fields that are configurable depending on your individual business needs.
  1. To filter touch a field name and then touch the required filter value.
An important point to note, is the category and filter is cumulative so the results will be affected by both selections. This allows you to narrow in on your product list e.g. only new products in a certain category.

Sort By

The Sort by feature gives options to sort the current search results based on Name, account or post code.
  1. Touch the Sort Zone and select the mode you would like the results to sorted by.

When a setting other than the default is selected the zones will display with a green background to let you know filters are applied. A clear button will also be visible.
  1. To immediately clear the search, touch 'Clear'.

Barcode

  1. Touch the 'Bar code' Icon to open the Inzant Bar code Scanning App.
This feature is used mainly when visiting Trade or Gift Show Fairs.
It enables you to scan the ID badge of a person and their saved details will automatically Save in the Bar code Mapping fields in Inzant.

  1. When the bar code mapping is Set up correctly the Retailer Details will Auto populate in Inzant's fields saving the retailer details for Immediate use.  Hold the scanner or iPad cameras over the Retailer badge to collect the information.  Please see the guide below on Bar code Mapping.

Add

  1. Touch the Plus '+' Icon to Add a New Retailer.
You will be able to view the Retailer Set Up Wizard. Please enter the information for the retailer as you complete the Retailer Set up Wizard.

More information on Adding new retailers can be found using the link below

View Modes

  1. You will now be able to view a pop-down menu showing you options to change the way you view your Retailers.

Map mode:

Map mode allows you to view the customer list in a split view mode with the list and the customers plotted on the map as well.
Customers are linked so selecting a customer from the list will highlight the pin on the map and visa versa.

The primary use of this view is to assist with call planning and scheduling for the days visits.
All the category and filter settings are also active when in map mode including todays calls and close to me filters.

  1. Retailer shortcut menus are available when touching on a pin on the map or double tapping (or long tap) the blue highlighted text in the list.
The shortcut menu allows you to:
  1.       start orders,
  2.       book calls,
  3.       get directions to the location
  4.       and lookup the customer information
