Should I configure a Payment Gateway for my website?
There are a number of different Payment Gateway options available to configure on your website, at this stage PayPal, SecurePay & ANZ Secure Gateway.
There are a number of things to consider before implementing a payment gateway;
- Do all customers need to pay for their order, or should only public or only account customers need to pay at the point of order placement?
- Do you want a single payment method or multiple payment methods (i.e. provide options for your users)?
- Do customers need to be shown and charged a surcharge fee at the point of purchase?
- Do customers need to be shown and charged freight costs at the point of purchase?
- Do customers need to be shown their "Final price" (including any and all discounts) at the point of purchase?
Most of these considerations are not directly relevant with configuring a payment gateway, but do certainly need to be considered before going live with one.
Feel free to get in touch with Inzant to discuss your requirements and they will be able to help you arrive at the most suitable solution.
