Blog Article Management

Articles
This enables users to add news articles or edit and delete ones existing ones. From the summary page below an Article can be added, edited or previewed. See our  Image Size Requirements section for Recommended Image Sizes.



Whilst on the Article Detail page (when adding or editing an article) the following fields are available;
  1. Title – the name of the blog article, is required.
  2. Author – the name of the author of the article, is required.
  3. Category – the category of the article, selected from a list of available categories, is required.
  4. Image – the image displayed with the blog article, selected using an image selector, is required.
  5. Synopsis – is the “preview” text that displays on the blog summary and blod listing widgets.
  6. Content – is the body content (actual content) of the blog – using a rich text editor. See a quick guide on using the CK Editor tool  Here.



Article Categories
Article categories allow the user to group blog or news articles. Categories that have been created will appear in the drop-down list for category when adding or editing an Article. A Category cannot be deleted if there are Articles assigned to that category. To add or edit a category, simply select on the sidebar option “Article Categories” and either edit an existing category or add a new one.
