Adding an Email account to your iPad (using the Mail app)
The below guide is from Apple's official guide to setting up an email account on an iOS device. If the user interface on your device differs from this you may be using a newer or older iOS version, if so feel free to check and see if Apple have an updated guide, or touch base with our support team for assistance.
How to setup your email account automatically
If you use an email provider like iCloud, Google, or Yahoo, Mail can automatically set up your email account with just your email address and password. Here's how:
- Go to the Settings app > Passwords & Accounts.
- Tap Add Account, then select your email provider.
- Enter your email address and password.
- Tap Next and wait for Mail to verify your account.
- Choose information from your email account, like Contacts or Calendars.
- Tap Save.
